Verified Reviewer |Negligence/Poor living conditions
Hey there, my name is Markiece Paul. I am a resident here at the Hub.
I have been living under poor conditions for almost two months. My AC unit has been broken since the end of September. I have made numerous maintenance requests through the office as well as with site maintenance. Im not able to sleep comfortably at night because of the heat and I have lost income due to the environment.
I have been incredibly patient with your team but I am now considering taking legal action against whomever it may concern. I have also received an eviction notice because of late payment of my rent but I do not feel comfortable paying if the complex continues to neglect my living conditions.
Can someone please reach out to me with a reasonable solution? Thanks in advance.

Verified Reviewer |Uninhabitable and hazardous living conditions
I am currently living at Arrive Alexandria in Virginia on S Whiting Street which is infested with roaches and is NOT properly maintained. They are now trying to charge me an early termination fee for having to move out due to the hazardous conditions.
I am chronically ill and auto immune deficient and have become progressively sicker since my 6 month stay here; staying is not an option. I had asked prior to moving in regarding the comments on reviews about roaches because of my illness. I was directly lied to that it was not an issue.
I was also lied to about what was included in the rent and they do not disclose the amount of admin fees they charge. I have pictures of the conditions of the building and the amount of roaches I have in this apartment.
Preferred solution: Full refund

Verified Reviewer |Very rude leasing office
I'm currently a resident in the Social North Charles, 3900 N Charles st, Baltimore, MD. I experienced an unbelievably unpleasant talk with the leasing office because of a maintenance order my roommate put.
She was not in the apartment and I was. The maintenance man came, knocking heavily at the door. I opened the door and he said that I put a work order about some drain. I nicely explained that I didn't put an order and it was probably my roommate.
At that point, I had no clue if she was in the house or not. I told him that I could go and ask if she is here, so she could explain what's wrong in her room. I've only taken one or two steps. The man left and kept saying 'Never mind' or 'Forget about it' (I can't remember the exact sentence but it should be something with similar meaning.) The above conversation is what I tried to explain to the leasing office when they called me shortly after.
However the lady began with I denied the maintenance man in an angry tone. She interrupted me couple of time during my explanation. She kept threatening me that my roommate's work order would be closed because of me. She wouldn't listen to whatever I said and didn't care as well.
It is literally the hardest conversation I had in my whole life because she, as an employee, came with preconception and just wanted to blame me instead of solving the problem here. After I tried my best to explain, she said that my roommate put that the maintenance man have free access to her room. I followed quickly that if that's the case, they can come, and I would be okay with that. She kept interrupting me and said that I could go to the maintenance page and check that.
I had to repeat several times that my roommate didn't inform me of it. Now I knew it, you can come, I'm okay. The phone call finally sounded like an argue, when the lady just throw her anger. This is ridiculous that none of the staffs could politely explain the situation to someone who had no idea what happened since I'm not the one who put the work order!
What's wrong with me when I don't know what happens to my roommate's drain and I wanted to ask her to explain the mess there so that the maintenance man could know the problem with the drain?
Nothing related, but one of the elevator is broken for almost two months. The trash chutes are closed for a whole month.
The trash in the chute, however, stayed there for a whole month with a height of 6 floors. There is a huge amount of fruit flies in our kitchens and terrible smell in the hallway.

Verified Reviewer |Extra fees that are unfair and unfunded
Charging me fees that have no proof. Left my apartment impecable clean.
They said is their word against mine. Even if I have proof that includes a video and pictures that I left my apartment clean does not change anything and I still have to pay even if it's unfair. Again reiterated that me having those proofs won't change anything and will collect their money. They won't review or do anything about it just charge me.
When I asked to show me what was dirty they sent pictures of a clean apartment so again based on what I left apartment dirty. Aside I paid my rent till the end of the lease which was the 12th of the month and on top of that they charged me $600 saying I am moving out early.
I moved out on the 6th of the month and the rent was already paid so why I have to pay extra Idk.Do not rent here. The only good thing is location (inner harbor -baltimore) BBB Should audit these people that are taking advantage of customers and taking their money away

Verified Reviewer |Mice + Rent Payment
Hello, I am emailing as I have had back to back complaints with my leasing office ReNew White Marsh within the past 2 months. The first incident occurred when I reported there were rodents in my apartment.
I went through the proper channels, filled out the maintenance request. I kept getting notifications stating the work order had been complete when in fact it had not. I called customer service 4 different times and had 4 different reps assist me with the matter and requested I be contacted by the office once the work was in fact complete. It wasn't until I physically walked into the office that the leasing office staff informed me my work order would not be complete for another week.
The second issue is more recent. I was flagged for not paying my rent + a late fee penalty when in fact the money was taken out of my account. I have been on automatic payments for at least 6 months now and always pay my rent on time. I have proof the money was taken out of my account, however the leasing office still insists I pay the money again.
I surely hope I can speak with someone higher than my leasing office as they have been of no help and are very rude at times.
I live in 3DH-1C. Thank you for your time.

Verified ReviewerWe moved and bought our own home for less money
We lived at The Clubhouse @Port Orchard for two years and last year everything went south first because the management let a teenage just hang out on the property, and he didn't live there, plus he would bully my medically challenged seven-year-old. I admitted I should not of smacked the kid, but the office wasn't helping, and the police didn't help.
Instead, the office gave me a lease violation and said that I better watch myself, or they would evict me even though our upstairs neighbors smoked weed all the time. Also, I was told to take my review down all because the manager at the time who is twenty years younger than me thought I harassed her by calling her a kid and also when move out day did come it clearly says in the lease as long as we bag up the trash there, but instead they charged us almost 500 for clean up and 400 for the utilities for April when we barely used any water and stuff but the neighbors upstairs were always in the shower and stuff.
They kept our deposit, and we still owe them almost 280, and we will eventually pay just to get the To go away, but don't post a review on yelp because they will remove it or harass you until you remove yourself. The biggest don't rent here they raised the rent and my mortgage is less than a three bed two baths with a kitchen that one person can only fit it!!!

Unsafe Property Owners
I moved into Wheaton Center on 12/7/15. Trinity Property Consultants bought it in 2018 and changed the name to ReNew Wheaton Center located in Wheaton, IL.
Immediately there was a steep decline in every area except for cheap cosmetic fixes.
Constant pipe breaks, mold, theft, and bugs.
Renew Wheaton Center put in cheap toilets that take 3 times to flush. Poor water pressure.
I had a break in into my apt by someone who had a Master Key Card. (I had the only key-fob.) I had to buy a indoor security camera after that and made a police report.
I had to make a Wheaton Police Report against Renew Wheaton Centers Management for Identity Theft. WHPC 200* *** generated by Officer Uhlir.
I was illegally evicted and verbally threatened by Sr.
Property Manager, Nick Miller. I have witnesses to his threats and kept all emails from him.
I was informed via letter that the implementations of washers/dryers would start in my tier on 3/23/20. I wrote back to Nick explaining that I am highly allergic to drywall dust and asked for a vacant apt which Nick replied, NO. Next, Nick wrote back saying that I could move out ASAP so my health wouldn't suffer.
I responded saying that it was physically and financially impossible for me to move out on such short notice as it was months before my lease ended.
The next thing that happened was that I was handed an eviction notice.
I feared for my life as my severe allergy to workmen's dust could result in my death.
I had to dig through Renew Wheaton Centers trash bins for used boxes, newspapers while tenants and staff wore masks/gloves. Staff members laughed at me and called me a garbage picker which a witness overheard.
I had to rent a one bedroom storage unit and do 5 runs a day not allowing me the stay-at-home rule while 2 strangers entered apartments not allowing tenants social distancing.
During this time Renew Wheaton Centers offices were closed to the tenants and public because staffers feared for their health due to the pandemic.
I became violently ill from asthma attacks from Renew WCs negligence while they continued implementations until May 17, 2020 putting tenants at greater risk. We have babies and elders that live here.
I made a FB video because I thought I wouldnt live through the night. Then I decided to call my son to drive me to the ER but I fainted in Renew Wheaton Centers lobby due to lack of oxygen.
All I remember is everything went black.
According to my son he called 911 and EMTs showed up in hazmat suits. My body and EMTs were blocking the entrance to the lobby preventing tenants from entry. I was then sent to Northwestern Hospital where I was given oxygen and prescribed Prednisone which I have never been prescribed before.
A tenant friend was one of the people who was unable to enter. He later asked me how I was doing once I was released from the hospital.
I asked him what he saw.
He told me he couldnt see my actual body laying on the floor but heard my son screaming asking the EMTs if I was dead. My friend told me to have the Management show me the camera footage as there is a camera in the lobby. I asked Nick Miller to see the footage and Nick replied, What footage? You never fainted in the lobby!
(I assume the camera footage was quickly deleted for fear of a lawsuit.)
I needed to hire a caregiver for a week as I could no longer function on my own.
I never needed live-in assistance before in my life. I was hacking/coughing for 8 plus hours a day while I struggled to breathe. I couldnt go to my son because he owns cats and Im allergic and my lungs were already severely compromised due to workmens dust.
I was a vibrant and healthy elder until Renew Wheaton Centers negligence as they went against Governor PRITZERs guidelines to stop all unnecessary indoor construction.
My bogus eviction case was CLOSED by the judge. I never had to present myself legally in any way.
(2020 LM 0007).
Renew Wheaton Center is directly across the street from DuPage PADS who serve the 100s of homeless people in DuPage County.
DuPage PADS is a wonderful organization that I volunteered for but they do not accept sex offenders. They are left to roam the vicinity.
During the height of the pandemic the DuPage County Jail released over 600 inmates. This jail is located in Wheaton, IL.
When I left my apartment I was aggressively approached by many pan handlers. I have video footage of homeless people squatting INSIDE Renew Wheaton Center One.
There have since been attempted child abductions.
A woman was raped by a homeless man across from my apartment near the bridge.
Across the street from Renew Wheaton Center is commuter garage parking which Renew WC rents out to tenants. I decided to park my car in the upper commuter garage because my car was totaled in RWCs on-site indoor parking. Police couldnt find who totaled my car because Renew WC doesn't have security cameras there nor in their 3 elevators for 20 stories. Another police report made!
Expect long wait lines for elevators as social distancing is strictly enforced for tenants only.
You will be sharing elevators with large dogs that will lunge at you so buy pepper spray.
Also, be careful not to slip on dog urine or worse left inside the elevators. I slipped on dog urine and hurt my knee. Had to get X-rays and use a cane. Getting Wheaton Center to pay for their negligence was a nightmare that took months.
I have witnessed homeless people shooting drugs and smoking crack in the lower commuter garage and sheltering from the rain directly across the street from my apartment.
Be careful not to step on broken crack pipes and used needles.
Drug use is rampant here at Renew Wheaton Center. My neighbor across the hall was a heroin drug dealer and arrested.
Renew Wheaton Center does NOT drug test any of their employees. That alone speaks volumes and many staffers live in Towers One and Two so trust no one.
When the eviction memorandum ends expect 100s upon 100s more homeless seeking assistance at DuPage PADS across the street from Renew Wheaton Center.
Across the street from Renew Wheaton Center is train tracks. On my 14th floor my apartment would vibrate with every train passing.
On my first day of living here I thought there was a minor earthquake happening. A tenant told me to get use to it.
I could hear my upstairs neighbors urinating and slamming down their toilet seat. I also heard their very private moments with their partner.
I lived alone but my 94 year old mother paid my rent from her Trust but has lived in her own home with her husband for decades but now suffers from dementia.
I never had a violation, been late on rent nor vacated my apartment willingly. Nick Miller and Trinity Property Consultants will tell you differently but they are pathological liars and value money over tenants.
I have all the proof to counteract their lies.
Trinity Property Consultants buys positive reviews from tenants by offering free gift cards, etc. Unfortunately for them - I cant be bought.
As of today, March 11, 2021 Renew Wheaton Center has 49 apartments available for rent now or soon. People are NOT renewing at Renew WC for a reason.
Rent for a STUDIO has gone up from $1,140 to $1,225 in 2 months (not including utilities) as of 3/11/21 at Renew Wheaton Center.
Trinity Property Consultants discriminated against me for my race (Native American), religion (Indigenous), age (65), disability (Autism), sexual orientation and allergies to mold and drywall dust.
Trinity Property Consultants scammed from my moms Trust over $6,200. I also had to pay for a storage unit, ambulance bills, hospital bills, doctors bills which totaled $10,500.
This does not include emotional and mental suffering from forcing me into homelessness.
If you are considering renting from any of their properties know that staff will embrace you with open arms. Once that lease is locked in you will experience a living H*** while your apartment floods.
If you are a past or present tenant and experienced things similar to mine I highly suggest you file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB has been around for decades educating the public about unethical practices from companies.
The BBB tries to assist in resolving disputes and its a free service to you.
If you are a potential tenant read the many public complaints and reviews which all have similar issues. Complaints filed by tenants, past employees and vendors who were not paid for their services.
To get you to the right site just google Trinity Property Consultants and the Better Business Bureau.

Lazy & money hungry
I wish I would of read the reviews before I moved there!!! If I could give no stars I would!
This place is trash, from cracks in the ceilings & walls that they just paint over (not to mention water leaks from those cracks). Apartment structure is put together all wrong, you can literally stick your fingers under the walls, because the carpet and walls dont meet the correct way. Apartments are not insulated correctly!!! They have 1washer & 1dryer for 8 apartments to a building.
People leave there belongings in the washers and dryers all night long leaving you unable to wash!! Leasing staff never answer the phone, they have an offsite office for what I dont know, because they never can help & the leaseing office says they never receive there offsites office messages so at that point your wasting your time in calling!! They over charge for crap Apartments. No lights in the living rooms.
Cheap closet doors. Drains always get clogged. Carpet is loose, lumps in the carpet. Holes under the carpet that you can literally feel with your feet.
People dont do a good job cleaning after there pets. If you have kids that like to play outside good luck! Because they dont have a Park for children, but have one for dogs that doesnt get used. The leasing office complains about everything, but they dont complain about the things they dont fix!!!
Emily probably is the worse to work with. Jessie on the other hand is okay. Lawerence is probably the nicest/honest employee they have on payroll. They do multiple inspections but never fix anything during these inspections, honestly I think they just want to be nosy!
Also im pretty sure they havent cleaned the ceiling fans since theyve been installed. Walls are paper thin so you literally hear everything. You can hear someone starting there car outside from your bathroom. You can hear your neighbors water draining & running through the walls.
No point in having a patio, because you cant do as you please on it!!! The Only good thing about this apartment complex is that they keep the grass cut.
They care more about Marijuana smells, then they do the leaks in your ceiling. They will tell you that they will fix it when temperatures are warmer, but Summer went by and they still didnt fix peoples leaky ceilings.Im also pretty sure they ask people to leave positive reviews for them, because I was told by a maintenance worker that (5) buildings water pipes keep busting & its like putting a bandaid over a pig because they barely do anything about it besides turn the water off

I had to get a Wheaton Police Report against Renew Wheaton Centers Management for identity theft WHPC 200* 968 from Officer Uhlir. I had a break in into my apt by someone who had a Master Key Card so had to make another police report.
After this theft of my gold/diamonds I bought an indoor security camera. My car was totaled in the lower indoor garage on-site at Renew WC. I called the police and showed them my car but Renew WC doesnt have security cameras in garage so the person who totaled my car was never caught. Renew WC doesnt have cameras in their only 3 elevators for a 20 story complex.

New toilets put in that take 3x to flush. Poor water pressure. Mold, mildew, broken bathroom tiles, constant pipe breaks causing flooding into my apt. Work orders go ignored unless its a pipe break again.
Fecal matter would come up my tub. They say non-smoking but you will smell cigs/pot daily but its better to smell that than human waste coming up your tub. Implementations of washers/dryers that stopped on May 17, 2020 causing tenants to be at greater risk for illness per Governor PRITZER. I am allergic to drywall dust and asked for vacant apt but Sr.
Property Manager, Nick Miller said NO! Nick wrote to me allowing me to move out in 5 days so my health wouldnt suffer but that was impossible to do on such short notice so instead Nick made up lies and gave me an eviction notice.
